More room for the moments that matter, a function room in Witów

The dining room at Rezydencja Kojsówka serves breakfast in the morning and is a space for events for the rest of the day. It hosts christenings, first communions, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and company trips. The scale of the house — twelve rooms and up to 32 guests — means a celebration can be combined with a bed for everyone invited, which solves the hardest part of organising a family occasion.

For some guests that is the whole point: the family stays put, nobody drives home at night, and the gathering does not end at the hour everyone has to leave. In the morning they all sit down to breakfast together and the occasion gains a second day it would not otherwise have.

Hiring the whole house

For larger occasions the whole house can be booked. The group then has exclusive use of every room, the dining room, the terrace and the garden with its fire pit and barbecue. There are no other guests, no shared queue in the morning and no sharing the space with anyone outside the event.

This is usually the choice for christenings and first communions, for families marking a big anniversary, and for companies looking for somewhere to hold a few days of training or a team trip away from a corporate hotel. The large free car park on the grounds makes arriving in several cars straightforward.

How we settle the details

The menu, the layout of the room, the timings and the number of beds are all arranged individually, in a conversation before booking. We prefer that to ready-made packages, because a first-communion lunch for thirty and a team trip for twenty are two entirely different events. Write or call with a date, a number of guests and an idea of how the day should run, and we will work out the rest together.

Weekend dates, especially in May, June and September, go fastest. For a family celebration it is worth getting in touch several months ahead; for company trips out of season availability is far better.

A celebration spread over two days

The biggest difference between a room hired for a few hours and a celebration in a house with beds is what happens afterwards. When everyone stays, the party does not end the moment the taxis have to be called. The conversation moves out to the garden and the fire, children fall asleep in rooms rather than in cars, and in the morning the whole family sits down to breakfast together — which for many guests is the best part of the whole gathering.

Why Witów rather than Zakopane

Venues in central Zakopane usually mean a higher price, a harder journey and a parking problem for your guests. Witów gives you quiet surroundings, space around the building, and a situation where older members of the family can step outside between courses and children have somewhere to run. At the same time Zakopane, the Chochołowskie Thermal Baths and the Chochołowska Valley stay within a short drive if your guests want to extend the stay and look around.

The mountain setting matters for the photographs too. The garden, the river and the view are a backdrop no banqueting hall by a main road can offer — and at a family occasion the photographs stay with you for years.

Company events and team trips

For companies three things usually matter: quiet to work in, somewhere to talk outside the meeting room, and the ability to keep the whole trip in one place. Kojsówka does all three: beds, breakfast, a room and a garden on the same site. In the evening the barbecue and the fire take the place of manufactured team-building, and in the morning nobody has to travel anywhere.
